Services

General practice, kept close to home.

We look after everyday illness, prevention, and ongoing conditions. Problems that need an emergency department or operating theatre belong at hospital — not in this clinic.

01

Routine check-ups

Thorough appointments to review your health, medications, and any concerns before they become urgent.

We set time aside for health assessments, blood-pressure and chronic-disease reviews, and the quieter questions that do not fit a five-minute sick visit. Bring your Medicare card and a list of current medicines.

02

Vaccinations

Childhood and adult immunisations, including seasonal influenza vaccines, given according to current Australian recommendations.

Our team keeps immunisation records up to date and can advise which vaccines are due. Please mention vaccination when you book so the correct stock is ready.

03

Illness and injury

Same-practice care for infections, injuries, flare-ups, and the health problems that need a GP rather than an emergency department.

Book on HotDoc or phone reception. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, or a severe allergic reaction, call 000 or go to South East Regional Hospital in Bega.

04

Ongoing and chronic care

Support for blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, arthritis, and other long-term conditions, with referrals when specialist input is needed.

We coordinate pathology, imaging, and specialist letters so care does not scatter between towns. Ask reception about care plans if you have a chronic condition.

05

Care for all ages

GP care for children, adults, and older people — including visitors staying in Eden.

Bring your child’s immunisation history to well visits. Travellers and seasonal visitors are welcome; please allow extra time if we do not already hold your records.

06

Scripts, certificates, and referrals

Repeat prescriptions, medical certificates, and referrals to specialists, allied health, and local hospitals.

Routine script requests are best made during a booked appointment so your doctor can review the medicine safely. Phone or book on HotDoc rather than sending clinical requests in writing.

Eden Medical Centre is an outpatient general practice. We do not staff an emergency department. Chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reaction, or trouble breathing: call 000 or go to South East Regional Hospital, Bega.
